Elsewhere, Coco Gauff defeated Iga Swiatek on Saturday in the United Cup as the United States beat Poland to claim the title. Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic says he still feels “a bit of trauma” passing through Melbourne airport, where he was deported from Australia three years ago.

Djokovic was detained in a hotel immigration detention center as the Australian Border Force denied him entry and canceled his visa to defend his Australian Open title in 2022. He appealed the verdict, but was ultimately forced to leave the country.

“I have to be quite frank,” Djokovic said Herald Sun Newspaper. “The last two times I landed in Australia, to go through passport control and immigration, I had a little trauma from three years ago.

“And there are still some traces there when I go through passport control, just checking if anyone from the immigration area is approaching. The person checking my passport: will they take me away, detain me again, or let me go? I have to admit I have that feeling.”
