LeBron James refuses to confirm if he played his last game with the Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James has cast doubt on his future with the Lakers after refusing to confirm whether he played his final game for Los Angeles following their NBA playoff loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Lakers were defeated 108-106 in the final seconds by the Nuggets on Monday night, condemning them to a 4-1 series loss and ending their playoff hopes for another year.

After his 30-point comeback failed to get Los Angeles over the line, LeBron decided not to answer a question about his future with the team, suggesting he has some things to think about over the summer.

Asked if he thought Monday’s game would be his last with the Lakers, the 39-year-old paused before saying, “Umm, I’m not going to answer that.”

More to follow.
