  • He walks down the path but suddenly seems to be hurled into the night sky

A homeowner seemed to disappear into a strip of light as he stepped out of his porch in amazing images of the bell doorbell.

It starts with the man slamming the front door of his home in Porter, Texas.

He starts to walk down the garden path before he suddenly seems to be hurled into the night sky in a thin flash of light.

The scene was compared to Star Trek, when Captain Kirk steps into the transporter and says “beam me up, Scotty” before being sent back to the Starship Enterprise.

A social media user said, “I don’t know what he had in his hand when he came out … blast me on Scotty.”

Other viewers suggested it was an abduction by aliens. One wrote: “Certainly extraterrestrial beings … open your EYEZ people … they are here among us …”

The doorbell camera catches him on the path that runs from his house

The man then seems to disappear when a flash of light shoots into the night sky. Viewers compared it to an abduction by aliens or a scene from Star Trek and quoted the slogan “Beam me up, Scotty.”

And a woman added, “ET went home.”

But fans of science fiction and viewers hoping that it was evidence of extraterrestrial activity would unfortunately be disappointed.

The man’s fiance responded to the video, which was taken on December 27.

She said, “This morning my fiance and I watched our videos recorded by Ring and we found a weird glitch.”

She said she said to him: “Look Ring were you abducted by aliens or were you just part of the recording!” and added, “Anyway, it was really funny!”
