As Christmas approaches, supermarkets will be stocking up on tubs of chocolate as families prepare to welcome a host of guests for the big day.
The holiday season often calls for people to stock up on boxes of Quality Street or Celebrations to satisfy both kids rushing to get their sweet fix and adults craving a sugary bite with their post-turkey tea.
And with that comes a battle to get your favorite candy, whether it’s the Milk Choc Block or a Galaxy wrapper.

Some options are more popular than others, while certain selections lag noticeably behind.
More recently, the divisive Bounty was proven not to be the most disgusting chocolate in the country in a Celebrations container, according to shocking new research.
While many families will find dozens of coconut candies left over after holiday celebrations, it’s actually the fifth most popular chocolate in the package.
Mars has fallen to last place in the UK rankings, while Maltesers have been deemed the best of the bunch.

Quality Street came out on top with the most candy in its container, with a whopping 65 gracing the box, enough for the whole family to enjoy. And Toffee Fingers fans will be happy to know he topped the list with nine up for grabs in the can.
However, those who prefer a Green Triangle, Orange Crisp or Milk Choc Block will have to be prepared to fight for their feast, as there were only four of each.
According Be protected – which produce Quality Street boxes – a 2016 survey showed that most prefer The Purple One, a milk chocolate candy with a sticky caramel centre; but there were only five in the box.

In second place for the overall total was Cadbury’s Heroes, with 60 candies in the box.
The most abundant candy in the tub was a Dinky Decker, with 11 wrappers available in the mix.
According Confectionery productionA 2019 survey by Mondelēz International and YouGov found that the British public’s favorites were a Twirl and a Crunchie. But unfortunately, there were only four Twirls in the bathtub, the smallest of the sweets. Elsewhere, there were six Crunchie Bits.

In second place for the overall total was Cadbury’s Heroes, with 60 candies in the box.
Celebrations
There were 59 chocolates in the Celebrations container, and the most populated candy was a Milky Way, with 10 candies in the entire box.
In second place were nine Mars’s, recently revealed as the UK’s least favourites, combined with Snickers.
Next to last place were Galaxy, Galaxy Caramel, Twix and Bounty, since there were six of each.
According to the new survey of Brits’ favorite celebrations, Galaxy was well represented in the top lists, with the candy version in third place and Snickers in fourth.
Bounty rounded out the top five, ahead of Twix, the Milky Way and then Mars.
This was true across the UK except Belfast, where 91 per cent like Mars and rarely save it until last in the bathtub.
In the comprehensive study of 4,000 people, four in 10 chose chocolate malt as their favourite, placing it ahead of Galaxy in second place with 34 per cent.
But only 18 percent chose a mini-Mars as their favorite.

The Roses box was the least populated with 51 sweets, of which 15 percent was made up of Dairy Milks, of which there were eight.
The thing that took up the least amount of time in the box was the Signature Truffle candy, of which there were only four.
The 2019 survey by Mondelēz International and YouGov, as reported by Confectionery productiondiscovered that the three favorites in the bathtub were a Hazel Whirl – of which there were five – a Strawberry Dream – of which there were five – and a Hazel in Caramel – of which there were six.
