Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has revealed how Teresa Giudice really feels about her friendship with her estranged sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and how it affects their relationship.

Catania, 53, opened up about their breakup in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com on Thursday, as she remains friends with both ladies.

Over the years, Giudice and Gorga have always been at odds, sometimes going years without speaking, as documented on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

However, it seems like things have finally been done for good between the two families, as Giudice and her brother Joe had a mega fight at the time of her wedding to Luis Ruelas in August 2022.

The feud was documented during the season 13 finale of RHONJ, when Giudice told her brother about a rumor that Melissa Gorga was cheating on him with another man.

This caused Gorga and her husband to skip the wedding, and the two have not communicated since, aside from occasionally having to film for season 14 of the reality show.

However, Catania remains friends with the two ladies amid their estrangement, including Giudice, whom she has known since she was a child.

‘Listen, does she love it? “I’m sure she doesn’t love it,” Catania admitted of Giudice’s feelings about her friendship with Gorga to DailyMail.com.

“But she doesn’t hate him either, because there’s no reason for me not to be friends with Melissa,” Catania continued.

“I was there from the beginning and I’ve been friends with them through all the ups and downs, so Teresa is not one to tell people who they can be friends with.”

He even suggested that there could be a world where the two mend their relationship.

‘Because what happens when they get close again if they get close again?’ Catania asked DailyMail.com.

‘And I don’t just mean them, but other friends in groups. When they fight, you choose a side and then they make up, so where do you stand?

During the interview, the New Jersey native also shared that she hadn’t seen Joe and Melissa Gorga in person recently, but she did talk to them.

“I keep in touch with everyone,” Catania shared with DailyMail.com.

“I was with Teresa, Jen Aydin and Kim D on their podcast the other day,” he continued, adding that he was going to see other cast members, Margaret Josephs and Jen Fessler, later that day.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star took part in the US version of the show, which was filmed in Scotland and will air on Peacock.

The show, which features 21 contestants, follows them all as they compete in teams for a cash prize of up to $250,000.

However, there is a problem, as three of the contestants are declared “traitors” as they try to sabotage everyone else to win themselves.

Viewers of the show know who the “traitors” are, but not the fellow contestants.

In the upcoming season, Catania will be joined by fellow Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley, former Real Housewives of Potomac member Robyn Dixon, and Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan.
