Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott filmed what turned out to be a very awkward TV show before splitting.
The exes, whose split was revealed last month, took part in Michael McIntyre’s Big Show and the infamous Midnight Gameshow sketch.
During the segment, the exes were surprised at Chelsea’s house they once shared with the comedian and his team, who woke them up in bed.
The stunned couple are filmed sitting together in bed as they are tasked with answering questions from three Love Island stars with custard pie – Jessy Potts, Harriett Blackmore and Ayo Odukoya.
McIntyre previously admitted that the skit almost never happened because the former couple had locked their bedroom door from the inside.
He told viewers: “They were terrified when I had to knock on the door, but luckily they had the time of their lives.”

Sam, 32, and Zara, 28, secretly filmed the TV show weeks before their split and were reportedly unsure whether the BBC would broadcast their appearance.
A source said the sun last week: ‘Zara and Sam were very happy and in love when they agreed to participate in the Midnight Gameshow.’
‘Obviously Zara and Sam participated in a professional capacity, so they’re not making a fuss.
“But it’s pretty embarrassing to think that they’re going to have to watch themselves on TV when they were still together.”
MailOnline revealed Zara and Sam had split last month after five years together and Zara recently revealed she had moved out of her home in Chelsea.
Sam has he spoke about the recent breakup with his friend Pete Wicks in the latest episode of his Staying Relevant podcast.
Pete, the strict star, asked Sam: “What’s been going on?” regarding the news of their relationship.
Sam admitted it’s been a “really tough month” managing the breakup as he opened up to Pete and his listeners.
