A man accused of being the biggest producer of animal exploitation content in New South Wales may be unmasked as a Yowie enthusiast.
Colin Baker, 38, who uses the online pseudonym ‘Beast Boy’, was arrested at a property in Moorland, about 30 kilometers north of Taree, at 7.30am on Tuesday.
In footage of the arrest, several officers escorted the man in a black T-shirt, shorts and sandals out of his home and toward a waiting police car.
RSPCA officers were later seen picking up a small white dog before removing it from the property to a kennel.
Baker is accused of using encrypted messaging apps to allegedly share beastly material including dogs, sheep, goats, chickens and a dead kangaroo.
A photo posted on social media shows Baker wearing a T-shirt with ‘Yowie Country’ printed on the front while giving two thumbs up.
It was the same shirt Baker was wearing when he was handcuffed and taken off the Moorland property on Tuesday.

RSPCA officers were seen removing a small white dog from the property.
The man was arrested at a house in Moorland, on the New South Wales mid north coast, on Tuesday morning.
He was seen being led by uniformed and plainclothes officers to a waiting police vehicle.
He was charged with eight counts of bestiality, six counts of producing bestial material, four counts of disseminating bestial material, as well as possession of child abuse material and using a transport service to access and solicit child abuse material. Police expect more charges.
The 38-year-old was refused bail and appeared at Taree Local Court on Tuesday.
The arrest comes after online character ‘Beast Boy’ was discovered by police after executing a series of search warrants in the greater Sydney area.
Police have taken electronic devices and hard drives from a house on the Mid North Coast to be forensically examined in the coming weeks.
The RSPCA also confiscated a dog that was allegedly sexually abused by the man.
Police said investigations under Strike Force Trawler would continue.
