Hulu has released a full trailer for the upcoming revival of the cult-classic mystery series, Veronica Mars, picking up the characters' lives since we last saw them in the 2014 movie, where we see that the show's heroine Veronica is back home in Neptune, California, to face a new threat to the city to grab.
This new season starts almost a decade after the show's original three seasons. Veronica is home again and just as cynical and witty as ever, and this new trailer shows what she can expect: Veronica has returned after years away and works alongside her father as a private detective. After a series of bomb attacks destroyed during the spring break, the city is pulled in by one of the victim's families to find out who is responsible. They melt in with a man named Clyde (played by JK Simmons), who seems to have something to do with the attacks and who seems to be connected to the rich inhabitants of the city, who are not happy with the status of their city as a spring break destination.
Hulu made the new series green last year, and announced that there would be a fourth season with eight episodes this summer, along with the three previous seasons and a film for viewers to stream. The first three seasons are available on Hulu July 1 and are followed by the full season 4 on July 26.
