Meanwhile, memorial ceremonies were held for the victims of two shootings that took place just one day earlier this week, killing 17 people and wounding 21, most of them children. A state of sadness prevailed in Serbia in the aftermath of the two shootings, and classes began in all schools in the country, with a minute of silence for the victims.
