A stepfather hunted his partner's young daughters, impregnated one and refused to feed another if she did not give in to his sexual demands.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was detained for 18 years by Judge Paul Higham of County Court Victoria on 19 July.
The court heard the man, who was in his early 40's, told the eight-year-old that he owned her genitals and threatened to kill her family when she spoke of the abuse.
In an act of & # 39; real wickedness & # 39; the man would refuse to feed her if she denied his advances and would reward her with food if she responded.
The girl became & # 39; like a rag doll & # 39; Thrown around because she was going to be dragged with her feet to her mother's bedroom, while being sexually assaulted while yelling, Judge Higham told the court.

In one case, the man watched the horses on TV when he forced the victim to perform oral sex.
In another case of insult, the girl was beaten when she refused to climb into the front seat of the car and play with & # 39; after she dropped the man's three biological children at their mother's house.
When they came home, the man hit her.
The girl told her mother about the abuse at the age of 10 but did not reveal the sexual nature until years later she was a teenager in year nine of high school.
When the relationship with the girl's mother ended, the man began dating another woman who lived with two of her daughters and started hunting one of them.
He had been married to the woman for six years and they started the divorce process when the 16-year-old victim began to show symptoms of pregnancy.
The abuse was first reported to the police in 2016 – just a few months after the second victim had given birth.
In a June 2016 telephone recording, the man denied sex with the second victim before claiming that she liked & # 39; and & # 39; it wanted & # 39 ;.
When he was interviewed by the police, the man denied the sexual assaults and claimed that he did not have & # 39; children & # 39; and that it was a & # 39; complete fluke & # 39; had to be to be the father of the child of the second victim.
The man, charged and released by the police, fled to New South Wales and changed his identity, appearance and telephone number.
The court was told that the man, born in the land of Victoria, was convicted in the early 1990s after he had indecently touched his four-year-old niece on three different occasions.
In victim impact statements read to the court, both victims wrote that because of the abuse they could not get a normal youth.
The second victim said the abuse turned her life upside down and she had a lack of self-esteem and the feeling of not being good enough.
She is constantly scared and suffers from paranoia, PTSD, anxiety and has been diagnosed with postnatal depression.
She is also worried about the day she has to tell her daughter the truth about her biological father and why he is not in their lives.
The victim's mother feels guilty & # 39; what happened to her daughter, Judge Higham told the court.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was imprisoned for 18 years earlier this month by Judge Paul Higham of County Court Victoria
The man pleaded guilty to six counts each of incest and an indecent act with a child, and one count of common attack.
& # 39; Each of the incest charges could be viewed and I think these are examples of violent rape, & # 39; said Judge Higham.
The victims were in the man's care when the abuse occurred.
Judge Higham said the abuse was a fundamental abuse of parental authority and betrayal of re-recognized community values.
& # 39; You had become part of your victim's family, your insult took place in the house where your victims had the right to feel safe, & # 39; he said.
& # 39; As a parental figure, they had the right to look at you for guidance, for parental care, for love and safety.
& # 39; Instead, their respective homes at the time of your insult became the place where you fell prey to them for your own sexual satisfaction. & # 39;
According to Judge Higham, the man showed "little or no regret".
& # 39; You are a persistent, persistent, sexual predator and offender of children, & # 39; said Judge Higham.
& # 39; You had one face for your partner and a very different face for your victims.
& # 39; You are a danger to women and their female children, and the community needs protection against you. & # 39;
After 14 years, the man is eligible for conditional release and is living in the register of sex offenders.
