Vicki Davey, 63, from the Lake Macquarie area disappeared while walking in the woods on Wednesday.

Around 12 on Friday, police discovered the body of a woman near a canal in the Glenrock Nature Reserve in Kahibah.

The body has not yet been formally identified, although police believe it is that of the missing woman.
