A group of teenagers have been accused of wreaking havoc and assaulting commuters on an Adelaide train line.

The group has been threatening and terrorizing commuters on the Seaford railway line on Eyre Peninsula for the past few weeks.

An Adelaide mother confronted the teenage girls after they allegedly attacked her 17-year-old daughter on Wednesday night.

She was alerted to the incident after receiving SOS text messages from her daughter who said she was being robbed.

“They told me: give me your bag, give me your phone, give me your glasses,” said the mother. 9News.

He grabbed her hair, pulled her head back and started hitting her.

“As a mother, it makes me feel helpless.”

A South African police spokesperson confirmed that police were investigating the alleged assault.

“Shortly after 6.15pm on Wednesday 1 May, a teenage girl was assaulted on the Seaford line train by a group of unknown girls who tried to steal her purse and phone,” the spokesperson confirmed.

“The female victim received minor injuries.”

The spokesperson said police are reviewing CCTV footage and that the three suspects had long brown hair and were between 12 and 15 years old.

“One suspect was described as being of Aboriginal appearance,” they said.

“One suspect was wearing jeans and a light gray sweater, while another was wearing light blue shorts and a white hoodie.

“The third suspect was wearing black leggings and a black hoodie.”

Mrs. Geschmay alleges that she was followed by a group of three and one of the girls punched her in the back of the head.

“They followed me behind me to the car, kicking my bag, which had all my electronic devices in it,” she said.

‘But once I got in the car, one of the girls started punching me in the back of the head.

‘I will no longer be able to use the train station alone because anything could happen to me.

“You don’t think it’s going to be younger people who are going to do things like that.”

A spokesperson confirmed that police were investigating an alleged assault at Seaford train station at around 7pm on Tuesday night.

Police will investigate whether the two incidents were related.
