Vernon Kay has jokingly responded to fans who questioned his choice of outfit at Wimbledon after attending the men’s final on Sunday.
The former TV actor, 50, looked dapper as he attended the event at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in south-west London alongside his daughter Phoebe.
The 50-year-old presenter, who shares a 19-year-old daughter with Tess Daly, beamed as he proudly posed with his daughter before heading off to enjoy the final day of the annual sporting event.
Vernon shared a snap from her day on Instagram, writing: “@wimbledon @emirates The final was so good! Let’s go!”
Interestingly, some of the star’s 891,000 followers were more focused on Vernon’s outfit choice than what was happening at the sporting event, taking to the comments to make jokes about his tight-fitting shirt.

Vernon was quick to respond to fans and address the joyous influx of comments during his BBC Radio 2 programme on Monday, admitting that “a lot of people” commented on her fashion choice.
He said: ‘It’s a strange morning, it doesn’t feel like a Monday morning after a big weekend of sport.
‘I went to a couple of barbecues and yesterday I was invited to a big barbecue for the game.
‘I went to Wimbledon, I posted a picture of myself outside Wimbledon, outside Centre Court, and a lot of people commented on the medium t-shirt.
‘I went with the medium. Someone said, “Are you wearing a padded shirt, Vern?” and I said, “Yeah, padded to the gills.”
Despite the “padded shirt” comments, Vernon appeared in good spirits Sunday as he made his way to the star-studded Center Court.

Her daughter Phoebe, 19, looked lovely in a strappy white mini dress, accessorised with PVC mules with white leather detailing and a multi-print shoulder bag.
Phoebe is the eldest of the couple’s two children and, along with her 14-year-old sister Amber, has enjoyed a childhood out of the spotlight.
However, since turning 18 last year, she has begun to appear in the public eye, making her red carpet debut alongside her father at the premiere of John Wick Chapter 4 last March.
Vernon previously revealed that he and Tess insist their children do not live off their fame and should pursue “their own careers”.
