An urgent search has been launched for a missing 12-year-old boy in Sydney.
Tyrell Simpson-Rodger, 12, was last seen cycling along Yorktown Parade, Maroubra, on Friday around 4pm.
The family notified officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command when they were unable to locate him.
Tyrell is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 125cm tall, of slim build, with blonde hair and green/blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a green school uniform t-shirt. black shorts and shoes and carrying a black backpack.
The 12-year-old boy is known to frequent the Glebe, Eastgardens and Maroubra areas.
Tyrell’s family, along with police, are very concerned for his well-being.
Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
