A woman has died and a toddler is fighting for his life after a car left the road and crashed into a tree near Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to Caboolture River Road in Upper Caboolture, north of Brisbane, about 2.30pm on Friday.
There they found an overturned white family car that had crashed into a tree, crushing part of the front of the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle suffered serious injuries in the accident and could not be saved.
A young child was rescued from the vehicle and taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Police is on the case.
