Twin Peaks Director David Lynch Receives 2016 Namaste Award from Yoga Gives Back Fundraiser
Fans of the cult classic “Twin Peaks” have been waiting for David Lynch to release Season 3, which airs on Showtime in 2017.
Meanwhile, the triple Oscar-nominated film director David Lynch received the prestigious 2016 Namaste Award from the Yoga Gives Back foundation at their fifth annual fundraising gala in Malibu at philanthropist Dr. Amarjit Marwah.

Lynch graciously accepted the Namaste Award, which recognizes his uplifting work through transcendental meditation conducted by his David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace.
He said he wished “much good to be seen everywhere, suffering belongs to none, peace” when he accepted the award.

His foundation teaches transcendental meditation in many countries and, through its practice, helps young children in inner-city schools, veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, the homeless, and women and girls who are victims of violence.
