Tucker Carlson fires back at Biden saying Democrats have decided to change the electorate

Tucker Carlson responded to Joe Biden when he stated that the Democrats are willing to change the demographics of the electorate to win the election.

During his Fox segment on Tuesday, the media pundit played a 2015 clip of the then-vice president’s remarks at a White House conference on countering global extremism.

Says Biden: ‘A relentless stream of immigration, non-stop, non-stop. People like me, who are Caucasian of European descent for the first time in 2017, we will be an absolute minority in the United States of America, an absolute minority.”

He continued: ‘Less than 50 percent of the people in America thereafter will be white Europeans. That’s not a bad thing. That is a source of our strength.

Carlson took aim at the Democratic Party, accusing it of tightening immigration policies and sidelining white Americans to win votes at the polls.

“So, you played clips of them saying it, and you’re the deranged conspiracy nut,” Carlson sneered between laughs.

“The Democratic Party has decided then that instead of convincing them, the people who were born here, that their policies are helping them and making the country better and stronger, they will change the electorate,” he added.

The video shared by Carlson is a 30-second clip of a longer six-minute version in which Biden spoke about how the Boston community recovered after the 2013 marathon bombing.

Before the video was cut, Biden had said an “unrelated immigration stream” was behind America’s secrecy to “remake itself like no other country in the world.”

Carlson has used the clip on several occasions to imply that Biden, and other Democrats, have tried to replace white Americans with immigrants, a conspiracy known as the great replacement theory.

Payton Gendron, 18, accused of opening fire at a Tops supermarket in Buffalo, New York, on Saturday, wrote a 180-page manifesto referencing the ‘great replacement’ theory while expressing racist and anti-Semitic sentiments.

Gendron’s attack killed ten and wounded three. Of the 13 people shot, 11 were black and two were white.

After mounting criticism that he had echoed the theory and featured it in his news segment, Carlson attempted to distance himself from the issue by accusing Democrats of using the opportunity to politicize the Buffalo race massacre.

On Tuesday, the media pundit added that even changing the electorate would not be enough for Democrats to recover from recent polls that revealed declining approval ratings.

“But the funniest part is that they may be wrong, actually, judging by recent polls,” Carlson said.

“It turns out that the politics of the average Salvadoran landscaper is much closer to that of Donald Trump than it is to that of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. So his basic calculation may be completely wrong, but that’s not even the point.

Tucker Carlson said the document written by Payton Gendron, a Buffalo grocery store shooting suspect, was “insane” and the product of a “sick mind.”

Biden on Tuesday refused to call Tucker Carlson by name when asked by a reporter if he thought the Fox News host was “partly to blame” for the mass shooting in Buffalo that left 10 dead.

However, Biden criticized those who “echo the replacement theory” when he visited and paid his respects at the site of the weekend rampage by a white supremacist.

It follows accusations from Democrats and the media that Fox News and Republicans are partly responsible for the Tops supermarket attack because they are allegedly pushing the fringe theory that white Americans are being replaced by minorities.

“I believe that anyone who echoes the replacement theory is to blame, not for this particular crime, but has no purpose except profit and/or political gain. And it’s wrong. It’s just wrong,” he told reporters as he prepared to leave Buffalo.

Earlier, Biden called on all Americans to reject the “lie” of the “great replacement” conspiracy theory and criticized those who promote it as a quest for power and political gain.

Biden issued his call in an emotional speech in Buffalo after a suspect killed 10 people during a shooting at a grocery store in what is being called a racially motivated attack.

The president’s throat tightened when he spoke of one of the victims, who was killed while buying a birthday cake for her three-year-old son.

“Hate will not prevail and white supremacy will not have the last word,” he said.

And Biden called out those in politics and the media who have spread the ‘grand replacement theory’, a conspiracy theory that claims non-white people are being brought into the United States to ‘replace’ white voters to achieve a political agenda.

The once-fringe racist idea became a popular refrain among media figures like Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham of Fox News. Some Republicans have been accused of espousing similar ideas.

Biden called it a ‘hate’ that ‘through media and politics, the Internet, has radicalized angry, alienated, lost and isolated individuals into falsely believing they will be replaced. That’s the word, ‘replaced’, by the other. By people who do not look like them, and therefore, in their evil ideology, they are being fed and possessed, inferior beings.
