Former President Donald Trump had a youthful response to his nemesis President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address on social media.

In the bizarre post on the former president’s Instagram account after Biden’s high-stakes speech at the US Capitol, Trump used a video of the president’s speech from last year.

The clips included four different filters over the faces of the president and Vice President Kamala Harris to distort them.

One of the filters showed Biden and Harris with googly eyes. The next one had the couple wearing hats and hair braided into a ponytail. Another showed Biden with a Pinocchio nose, while the fourth filter imposed a talking dog’s head on Biden’s body.

The videos appeared to have been chosen at random and there was no title on the post.

One of Trump’s Instagram posts on Biden’s State of the Union night was a strange series of clips from Biden’s previous speech with a series of filters on him and Vice President Harris.

It was one of several posts Trump posted throughout the night in which Biden criticized Trump during a prime-time speech without even mentioning Trump by name, referring only to the likely Republican presidential nominee as “my predecessor “.

Trump also posted furiously on his Truth Social account throughout the night after promising live remarks from the State of the Union address.

Some of the more than 50 ‘truths’ he published included images. There were a few short lines about Iran, Putin, Ukraine and the border. But some of his responses focused entirely on Biden’s appearance rather than his politics.

In one she wrote: ‘Her hair is much better in the front than in the back!’

In another, he wrote that Biden “seems so angry when he talks.”

Another was: “He’s so angry and crazy!”

At the same time, it appeared that the social media website used by Trump had problems throughout the president’s speech.

Downdetector, the online platform that provides users with information on the status of various websites, showed that Truth Social had outages.

There was a massive spike in reported outages starting at 9:00 pm, just as the president was set to deliver his speech. The outages lasted until 11 p.m., long after the president finished his speech.

Some users who tried to visit Trump’s page encountered a loading wheel and were unable to see what he was posting.

The Biden campaign mocked Trump’s rapid response operation by sending an email with the word “sad” and an image of what appeared to be Truth Social not working.

Despite the bizarre nature of Trump’s Instagram video, his followers on the platform seemed to like it, giving it more than 284,000 likes by the end of the night, with users commenting on how “hilarious” it was.

Others didn’t think it was as “fun” as others. With one user writing “Yes, this is mature.”
