Two young children were rushed to hospital after being found “unresponsive” in a swimming pool.
The children were pulled from the water at a unit complex in Cairns this afternoon.
Paramedics responded to the scene around 3:50 p.m.
They are now said to be breathing and have been taken to Cairns Hospital in serious condition.
“Two male children were transported to Cairns Hospital in serious conditions following a post-dive incident in a pool at a unit complex in Woree at 3.40pm,” a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
