Trump indictment delayed again as Manhattan grand jury takes ‘month off’
- After several delays, Manhattan DA’s office announces ‘scheduled hiatus’
- This is the latest delay after weeks of political back and forth
- Many say DA Alvin Bragg has no case and the investigation is harmful
A Manhattan grand jury deciding whether to indict former President Donald Trump will expire for another month in the latest delay in the ongoing legal saga.
Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg referred the case to a grand jury earlier this month in hopes of indicting Trump on campaign finance violations.
But weeks after he was expected to be arrested, Trump remains unharmed, and the wind in Bragg’s sails seems to be thinning.

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has been widely criticized for his handling of the case. Many say he has no legs and is driven by his political hatred of Trump
today, Politico stating that the grand jury would not hear evidence for another month.
It is part of a “scheduled hiatus,” according to Politico Sources.
Trump has yet to respond to the latest delay, but he earlier praised the grand jury, who has yet to indict him.
The grand jury usually meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
But they will not meet today and tomorrow they will hear details about another issue.
They won’t hear evidence for Trump’s case tomorrow either, and then the jury will go on a scheduled ‘hiatus’ that has been planned since January.
