The former president will stress “unity” following the failed assassination attempt against him last week.

This happened when NORAD sent an F-35 to intercept a plane that violated a restricted zone near the convention in Milwaukee.

He says his “beautiful” wife “has incredible relatability” and joked that he was “not in his right mind” to follow her comments.

“Then I realized it was my idea,” he said with a laugh.

Trump to accept Republican nomination tonight

Donald Trump will formally accept the Republican nomination tonight at the party’s convention in Milwaukee.

It will be his first speech since surviving an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Trump has said it will be a “unity speech” in which he will call on Americans to unite.

Several University of North Carolina Chapel Hill fraternity brothers who defied pro-Gaza protesters by banding together to prevent the American flag from touching the ground received a loud and warm welcome from RNC attendees on Wednesday.

When the group took the stage at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday, one might have believed a battalion of war heroes had just returned from overseas duty, but that reception was not for the military but for the fraternity brothers’ militant defense of the flag.

Unidentified plane intercepted near Republican National Convention

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) sent an F-35 aircraft to intercept an unidentified aircraft.

The mysterious plane violated a temporary no-fly zone southwest of Milwaukee, where the Republican convention is being held.

At 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, radar data detected the plane within restricted airspace at 4,400 feet.

He was escorted out of the area and there were no further immediate details.
