Republican candidate Donald Trump appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast in a three-hour interview where he showed the scar from his assassination attempt, talked about UFOs and revealed the “big mistake” during his presidency.
While appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience, the former president revealed that he felt he made “bad decisions” while discussing previous appointments to his cabinet.
He attributed the “success” of his presidency to his own decision-making in choosing officials who would serve in his administration.
“The only mistake… I’ll say it always comes back to the same answer, the biggest mistake I made… I picked some people I shouldn’t have picked,” he said.
Rogan then responded by asking if that meant “neoconservatives,” to which Trump responded, “Yes, neoconservatives, or bad people, or disloyal people.”
During his podcast with Joe Rogan, Donald Trump revealed his “one big mistake” during his presidency, saying he made “bad decisions” when choosing officials for his administration.
The long-awaited podcast between Joe Rogan and Donald Trump aired tonight and saw viewing figures soar to 300,000 in just 30 minutes.
The 78-year-old Republican candidate didn’t hold back and specifically named John Kelly, his longest-serving White House chief of staff, and John Bolton, his national security adviser.
Both Kelly and Bolton have become highly critical of the former president. Recently, Kelly was quoted defending claims that Trump was a fan of Adolf Hitler and warned that he would “rule like a dictator if he were allowed to.”
Kelly served on Trump’s staff from 2017 to 2019 and revealed to the New York Times his claims that the former president is the “definition of a fascist” without understanding American history or the Constitution.
He claimed that Trump had allegedly said that “Hitler did some good things,” praising the Nazi dictator for having “rebuilt the economy” and that he had desired the level of loyalty that German generals had in World War II.
Bolton told the daily beast that “Trump is too stupid to be a true fascist” and that the former president’s behavior “alone is worrying enough.”
‘To be a fascist, you have to have philosophy. “Trump is not capable of that,” he added.
Trump compared Kelly to a “thug” on Rogan’s podcast, saying, “You’re reading a little bit about them today, a guy like Kelly, who was a bully.” A bully but a weak person… He’s bad… Bolton was an idiot.’
Trump addressed allegations of election theft, saying the 2020 election was “the most crooked election” and that the ballots were “unsigned” and “not original.”
In 2022, Rogan insisted that Trump would never appear on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ because he did not want to help the Republican Party campaign. He even referred to the former president as a ‘threat to democracy’
Rogan also pressed the former president on allegations that the 2020 election was stolen from him, asking, “I want to talk about 2020 because you said over and over again that you were robbed in 2020. How do you think you were robbed?”
“That election was so crooked, it was the most crooked election,” Trump responded.
When asked for examples, he continues: “Well, let’s start, let’s start at the top and with the easy ones.”
“They were supposed to get legislative approval to do the things they did, and in many cases they didn’t get it,” he added.
Trump was then asked what things needed the legislative approval he was referring to, and he responds: ‘Anything… Like for voting extensions, to vote earlier. All these different things. By law, they had to get legislative approval.”
‘It is not necessary to go further. If you look at Wisconsin, they pretty much admitted that the election was rigged, stolen and stolen.’
He then goes on to explain that access to the ballots in certain areas was limited because, he stated, “the ballots were not signed.” They were not original.
‘We could participate in the voting or in the general election. I’ll give you another way,’ he continued.
When Rogan then asks if he would ever “present” this evidence, Trump directs the conversation to the 51 intelligence officials who claimed Hunter Biden’s laptop came from Russia with a signed letter just before the 2020 election.
However, the happy and friendly podcast quickly changed again. Rogan asked if the former president had been given any inside information about the existence of aliens.
To which he replied: ‘They told me a lot.’
After Rogan pressed further, Trump said that “based on Hunter Biden, I can say whatever I want.”
He goes on to say that there is “no reason” not to believe there is life in space.
During Rogan and Trump’s three-hour podcast, the pair talked about the scar where Thomas Mathew Cooks shot him on July 13 in an assassination attempt.
Trump referred to a “small mark” on his ear where he was shot. “He shot himself right there,” he added.
Rogan then pointed out the lack of evidence and brought up speculative claims about drones “hovering over battleships, that they are Chinese drones, and that they are not UFOs.”
“They might as well be,” he replied. Before the two discussed Area 51, Trump shared, “I have to be honest.” I have never been a believer. I have people from Area 51 or whatever. I think it’s the number one tourist attraction in the entire country or something. Area 51 in Las Vegas.’
The three-hour podcast, which delayed the arrival of Trump’s rally in Michigan by several hours, ended with a friendly discussion about the scar left by the attempted assassination of Thomas Mathew Cook on July 13.
He referred to a “small mark” on his ear where he was shot. “He shot himself right there,” he added.
“It healed up pretty well,” Rogan responds.
“He’s not like some UFC fighters,” Trump added. “But that makes me a tougher guy.”
In 2022, Rogan insisted that Trump would never appear on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ because he did not want to help the Republican Party campaign.
He turned down multiple offers for Trump to appear on the show, saying, “I’m not a Trump supporter in any way.” I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once; I’ve said no, every time… I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping you.’
Rogan even referred to the former president as a “threat to democracy.”
Kamala Harris’ campaign announced that she would not appear on Rogan’s podcast “due to scheduling this period of the campaign.”
However, after facing backlash after he seemingly endorsed RFK Jr instead of Trump, Rogan was forced to backtrack on his comments insisting he was not endorsing Kennedy.
The episode premiered at 10 pm ET on Friday night and viewing numbers soared to 300,000 in just 30 minutes.
“I probably haven’t seen anyone in history who has been attacked the way you have been attacked and the way you have been attacked in such a coordinated and systematic way,” Rogan told Trump. “You have said a lot of nonsense.”
Kamala Harris’ campaign reportedly negotiated with Rogan’s team for an interview on her podcast and it was announced that she would not appear “due to the scheduling of this campaign period.”
