Donald Trump surprisingly questioned whether Vice President Kamala Harris was high or drunk during his ‘edited’ ’60 Minutes’ interview.
Before a humming crowd at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina on Tuesday night, the former president gave a wide-ranging speech in which he promoted his political agenda and sharply criticized his enemies Kamala Harris and Barack Obama.
Mentioning Harris, who gave an interview to CBS’ 60 Minutes two weeks ago, Trump wondered what led to such a “bad” media appearance.
The network has been widely criticized for “deceptively editing” a lengthy response Harris gave during the interview, after admitting it aired a “more succinct” portion of her response.
And he speculated that drugs and alcohol could be to blame.

“Listen, ’60 Minutes,’ she was so bad that she gave an answer – this never happened to me… she gave an answer that was so bad that they changed it,” Trump said at the rally.
‘They took it out, they threw it away. “They didn’t like editing it one bit,” he said of CBS. “She didn’t know where the hell she was doing.”
The former president then raised some shocking allegations.
‘Baby?’ he questioned. ‘Is she on drugs? I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. I have no idea.’
Trump offered no evidence of Harris’ history with alcohol or drugs, only asking whether she used those substances during the edited interview.
Trump’s legal team sent a letter to CBS threatening to sue the network if it did not release a full, unredacted transcript of the interview.
Kamala Harris offers a long, winding response in a CBS interview that was replaced by a more concise one in the segment that aired on 60 Minutes.
The letter accuses the network of engaging in “news distortion” and its producers of having “intentionally misled the public by airing a skillfully edited transcript of the interview, while choosing to post other portions online.”
It hints at possible legal action by saying, “Please confirm receipt of this letter within 48 hours and further confirm your intention to cooperate with these lawsuits.”
Trump’s lawyer, Edward Andrew Paltzik, writes that it was intended to “cause confusion among the electorate regarding the abilities, intelligence and attractiveness of Vice President Kamala Harris.”
The former commander in chief has repeatedly suggested that the network obtain a broadcast license.
“You know, they have to be licensed by the federal government,” he told the crowd in Greensboro. “They should have their license taken away.”
“They take every word and then they throw it in the trash, and they insert another response that’s called election interference, and it’s called fraud.”
Trump repeatedly said CBS should be stripped of its broadcast license for editing the Kamala Harris interview.
Former President Barack Obama compared Trump to a crazy old man this week
Also during the rally, Trump ridiculed former President Barack Obama.
Hours earlier, Obama called Trump “old” and “crazy.”
“There are doubts about his competence.” Obama said. “You’d be worried if Grandpa acted like that.”
“So in Wisconsin we don’t need to see what an older, crazier Donald Trump looks like without guardrails. “America is ready to turn the page,” he said at an event with Tim Walz.
The Republican attempted to flip the script and claim that Obama, 63, “looks a little old, right?”
He also called Obama a “moron” and “divider” who seems “exhausted” after stumping Kamala Harris.
The former president also addressed the usual topics, such as recovering the American dream, curbing inflation and curbing illegal immigration.
He also repeated his common claim that Harris is ‘the worst vice president in the history of our country’ and reprized his famous line from his hit show The Apprentice.
“You’re fired, Kamala,” he said to applause.
