Wide receiver Marquise Brown celebrated joining the Kansas City Chiefs by playing one of Taylor Swift’s biggest hits.
Earlier Friday, the 26-year-old agreed to a one-year deal with the defending Super Bowl champions. The contract may be worth up to $11 million, according to sources.
With his team ready for next season, Brown got acquainted with Swift, who he will hear a lot from as a member of the Chiefs.
Brown went on Twitch and swayed back and forth to Swift’s 2014 hit, Blank Space. She also raised and lowered her hand while complementing the song.
“The beat comes off serious,” Brown said, smiling. ‘Oh, I know this song!’

Brown will join the Chiefs after three seasons with the Ravens and two with the Cardinals
Brown joins the Chiefs after three seasons with the Ravens and two with the Cardinals. He was selected with the 25th overall pick in 2019 out of Oklahoma.
So far in his career, Hollywood Brown has made 313 receptions for 3,644 yards and 28 touchdowns in 72 games. Last season, he made 51 catches for 574 yards and two touchdowns for Arizona.
The Cardinals finished with a 4-13 record and missed the playoffs for the second straight year.
Brown is expected to start alongside Rashee Rice and Justin Watson at wide receiver for Andy Reid’s offense. The addition of him also places him with Travis Kelce and Isaiah Pacheco, expanding Patrick Mahomes’ targeting options.
Brown was considered questionable with a pedal heel bruise late last season.
