Travis Kelce

NFL star Travis Kelce found himself in the line of fire at Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday afternoon.

The Kansas City Chiefs star was bizarrely attacked by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe as the ‘Kill Tony’ podcast host addressed the New York crowd at the famous stadium.

The speaker made a sly dig at the tight end while rattling off the long list of celebrities endorsing the left, including Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift, Eminem and Leonardo DiCaprio, during his keynote address.

“I don’t know about you, but I think Travis Kelce could be the next OJ Simpson,” the comedian joked with the nasty comment that drew some timid laughter from Trump supporters gathered inside MSG.

‘Every day the Democratic Party looks more like a Diddy Party!’ He continued his criticism, referring to the infamous ‘Freak Off’ parties hosted by rapper Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs, who was indicted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges last month.

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe claimed Kelce was “the next OJ Simpson” at a Donald Trump rally.

Despite remaining politically neutral in the public eye, Kelce somehow found himself in the crossfire amid Hinchcliffe’s attacks.

The comedian’s unnecessary jibe was, of course, referring to controversial former NFL star Simpson, who died at the age of 76 in April.

Simpson played 11 seasons in the NFL, nine of them with the Buffalo Bills, where he became known as ‘The Juice’ and ran behind an offensive line known as ‘The Electric Company.’

He won four NFL rushing titles, ran for 11,236 career yards, scored 76 touchdowns and played in five Pro Bowls. His best season was 1973, when he rushed for 2,003 yards, the first running back to break the 2,000-yard rushing mark.

However, Simpson’s football legacy was forever changed with the June 1994 murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Goldman in Los Angeles.

Live television coverage of his arrest after a famous slow-speed chase marked a stunning fall from grace.

Simpson was acquitted of the murders of Ron Goldman (left) and Nicole Brown (right), but was later found responsible for their deaths in a civil trial in 1996.

The jury found him not guilty of murder in 1995, but a separate civil trial jury found him liable in 1997 for the deaths and ordered him to pay $33.5 million to relatives of Brown and Goldman.

A decade later, Simpson led five men he barely knew into a confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers in a small Las Vegas hotel room. Two men with Simpson had guns. A jury convicted Simpson of armed robbery and other felonies.

Imprisoned at age 61, he served nine years in a remote northern Nevada prison, including a stint as a gym janitor.

Hinchcliffe’s outrageous and unnecessary attack on Kelce comes amid the footballer’s public affair with pop star Swift, who endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris last month.

Immediately following the televised presidential debate between Trump and Harris on September 10, Swift took to Instagram and told her 284 million followers that she planned to vote for the vice president.

The megastar said she would vote for the vice president “because she fights for the rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend them.” He didn’t personally attack or criticize Trump, but he signed his endorsement of Harris with: “Childless Cat Lady.”

Hinchcliffe's swipe at Kelce comes amid the footballer's romance with pop star Taylor Swift.

It’s a reference to Trump’s running mate, Senator JD Vance, who said in a 2021 interview with Tucker Carlson that the United States is run by Democrats, corporate oligarchs, and “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable with their own lives and with the rest”. decisions they have made and that is why they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”

Trump responded in predictably blistering style on his Truth Social platform, stating, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”

The endorsement raised fears that it could spell bad blood between the singer and Brittany Mahomes, her Chiefs WAG best friend after the wife of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes sparked a liberal crisis by liking a post about Trump in August.

However, none of his NFL suitors have publicly revealed their political stances.
