Travis Kelce received a warm welcome from Chiefs fans upon his arrival for the team’s second day of training camp, while his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, stayed behind to continue her tour of Europe.
On Monday, Kelce, 34, who returned to the U.S. last week, was cheered on by a large group of Chiefs fans, some of whom are likely students, as the team conducts its preseason practices at Missouri Western State University this year.
The three-time Super Bowl champion was seen walking up a hill on campus in full Chiefs practice gear, without protective gear and holding a red team helmet in his right hand.
He played with his mustache and smiled at the crowd as a way of acknowledging fans.
Travis’ teammate and Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco also greeted the group with a wave.

Travis showed up to Chiefs practice for the first time this summer on Sunday, and was seen running several routes and even scoring a touchdown.
The tight end celebrated the go-ahead goal with Tony Gonzalez’s signature celebration, a dunk over the goal post.
His sightings at the practice come after it was reported that he went on a shopping spree with Swift, allegedly spending $75,000 on 14 gifts from Italian designers before the pop star performed in Milan as part of her ‘Eras’ tour.
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk also recently praised Travis, describing the nine-time Pro Bowler as “genuine” and “so supportive” of Swift, whom he mistakenly described as Travis’ “wife.”
“I think maybe that’s part of the reason why they’re so beloved by fans and why people love both couples,” Juszczyk continued while also praising her Niners teammate and running back Christian McCaffrey, who just married model Olivia Culpo.
“Everyone stayed so genuine and real. They didn’t get too good for everyone.”
Meanwhile, Taylor has emerged as the second favorite to perform at Super Bowl LIX in February, behind Miley Cyrus.
She was last seen with Travis at his concert in Gelsenkirchen, Germany on July 17.
Travis wrapped his arm around Taylor as they left backstage, waving to eagle-eyed spectators who briefly caught a glimpse of the happy couple leaving the Veltins-Arena, which some fans believe may have marked the tight end’s final appearance on the Eras Tour.
