Kansas City Chiefs superstars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce returned to the team’s practice facility for OTAs (organized team activities) on Thursday.
The duo was seen warming up together in Kansas City as the team prepares to defend its Super Bowl title from last season.
Kelce and Mahomes remain the best quarterback-tight end combination in the NFL, and they look to keep that productive partnership alive for next season.
They’ve already bumped into each other several times this offseason after all their title celebrations wrapped up.
Earlier this week, the couple was courtside for a Dallas Mavericks NBA playoff game.
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were seen together at Chiefs OTAs on Thursday.
The duo is preparing for the 2024 season and hopes to win a third consecutive league title.
Kelce will have a busy offseason as he takes on new commitments and begins what could be a post-game day career in acting and television hosting.
That includes his role as host of the reboot of ‘Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?’, which will be updated to ‘Are You Smarter than a Celebrity’?
The three-time Super Bowl champion, who is now the NFL’s highest-paid tight end, said he is actively “looking” for movie roles after being cast in Ryan Murphy’s new FX series Grotesquerie.
“I’m looking for movie offers,” he told his brother Jason on Wednesday’s episode of their New Heights podcast.
‘I’ll do anything in the movie. “I will be a part of it in any way I can.”
The 34-year-old also addressed speculation that he will appear in the upcoming sequel to the 1996 Adam Sandler comedy Happy Gilmore.
‘Oh! That’s right?’ Jason asked Travis.
The Chiefs star responded: “I didn’t even know there was a job opening for Happy Gilmore 2, but if there is, I’ll be extra f***ing.”
The athlete, who has been wearing a ‘Happy Gilmore’ hat in public, continued: ‘Anything to meet Happy Gilmore or an Adam Sandler movie or set.’ Count on me. Obviously I’m a big Sandman fan.
