Tottenham’s reliance on Harry Kane as a central striker is highlighted by the summer departures of Fernando Llorente and Vincent Jansson.

Mauricio Pochettino is likely to find himself in the market for a replacement should the club go deep once again in the Champions League.

Muriqi joined Fenerbahce this summer and is under contract until June 2023 with the Turkish side – but a big-money move could force the club’s hand.

Kane is undoubtedly the first-choice option but Pochettino would no doubt love to have a prolific option off the bench to add to his current squad.

The Kosovo international has form in 2019 having scored 12 goals in his last 13 Super Lig appearances in Turkey for former club Rizespor and now Fenerbahce.
