Undefeated Australian boxer Tim Tszyu will undertake the toughest challenge of his career on Sunday when he takes on former champion Tony Harrison for the interim WBO junior middleweight title.

Tszyu, the son of Hall of Famer Kostya Tszyu, will try to emulate his father by becoming world champion with a win over his battle-tested American opponent.

Harrison, who learned his trade at Detroit’s famed Kronk Gym, is the only boxer to win over undisputed champion Jermell Charlo and believes he will have too much class for the Australian.

Tszyu was scheduled to fight Charlo in January for the American’s IBF, WBC, WBA and WBO super welterweight belts, but the fight was canceled when Charlo injured his hand.

Sydneysider, 28, suffered an early scare in his last fight with Terrell Gausha, and most experts believe the fight with Harrison will be another step up in quality.
