While it’s been a few months since the Tiger King craze was at its peak, interest in Netflix’s crazy documentary about big cat owners is still high – just ask Carole Baskin.
Baskin, 59, has reportedly earned anywhere near $ 20,000 on her first day as part of Cameo, the video messaging service where users can pay celebrities to record personal greetings, according to The sun.
The Florida-based director of Big Cat Rescue has set up a page on the Cameo site, where fans can spend over $ 199 for Carole to record a personalized 30-second video message for the person of their choice.

Her greeting that welcomes Cameo users sees the star decked out in one of her signature floral crowns.
“Hey all cool cats and kittens,” she begins, as she does with all of her video greetings.
“I’d be happy to record any greeting for a birthday or anniversary or an encouraging message to the animal lover in your life.”
Ever the animal activist who lobbies for a good cause, Carole then asks fans to visit her Big Cat Act website to donate to help her wild feline rescue center.

To date, Joe Exotic’s nemesis has garnered over 50 positive reviews from Cameo users and has a collection of a total of nine videos on her page with examples of the posts she has recorded so far.
Reading the site, Carole’s asking price of $ 199 seems high compared to others – TV and theater star Cheyenne Jackson, for example, can be bought for $ 95, and Caroline Manzo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey pin her price at just $ 60.
Nonetheless, it seems like there are plenty of Tiger King (or specifically Carole Baskin) fans willing to spend nearly $ 200 to get a personal message from her.

And Baskin’s mania doesn’t stop there – the reality personality will of course feature in at least two upcoming scripted adaptations of the Tiger King saga, one of which has dismissed actress Tara Reid as potential Carole.
Last month, Reid herself noted whether she has actually been cast, saying nothing has been confirmed yet.
“My manager first brought it up and then it went viral over the internet. Like, all fans went crazy, ” the Sharknado star told The Morning Show in mid-June.
“They still don’t cast or anything, but I’d like to play the part if they cast me, sure. It would be great!’ she said.

Meanwhile, like for Tiger King’s other viral star – Joe Exotic – life isn’t nearly as well funded or happy right now.
The former zoo owner, aged 57, is currently serving a 22-year sentence after being convicted of plans to kill Carole.
In addition, Carole recently acquired the Oklahoma Zoo, which once belonged to Joe.
The outspoken former presidential hopeful has repeatedly spoken in letters from prison about his health, both mentally and physically, saying he was denied access to much-needed medication and was feeling ‘abandoned’ – even by his fourth husband, Dillon Passage .
At least Exotic can rely on its rendition to be deftly handled in the upcoming Tiger King series – Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage has landed the role of Joe Exotic on the show.
