It came after the duchess's father revealed that he had not spoken to his daughter in months and that he wanted to reclaim his old life.

Mr. Markle said he wanted to go on vacation and leave behind the furor with the royal family, he told The Sun.

Since the May ceremony, he said in Good Morning Britain that he had discussed politics with Harry, claiming that the Prince was "open to Brexit."

Mr. Markle also revealed that he has not spoken to his daughter since the wedding and that he feels he had been "cut" as punishment for organizing the fake paparazzi photos.

He said in a newspaper interview that his daughter looked "terrified" in her new role and that she wore a "sore smile".

Meghan's father also says he was worried that his daughter had read false reports that she faked her heart attack.
