This Morning fans have slammed Josie Gibson for getting “nervous” while interviewing Lucien Laviscount.
The presenter, 39, and co-host Craig Doyle, 53, sat down to chat to the hunky actor, 32, about the new series of Emily In Paris on Friday’s show, with Craig jokingly quipping: “You’re too good looking for my taste!”
However, when Lucien began speaking in his character Alfie’s Cockney accent, a blushing Josie found herself slurring her words and even began fanning herself as she became hot and bothered.
Josie, struggling to compose herself, laughed nervously and apologized profusely, while Lucien laughed good-naturedly.
Later, as the chat was coming to an end, Craig pointed at Lucien’s bulging arms and commented, “I just noticed those biceps, I don’t like them!”

To which Josie interrupted: “You just noticed them?!”
On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans were quick to mock Josie for her actions and pointed out how nervous she was.
They shared: ‘Aww look at Josie getting nervous; ‘Josie stop drooling.’
“I like Josie, but is she okay today?”; “Oh my God, Josie is in love with this boy.”
Meanwhile, in addition to the flirtatious exchange, Lucien opened up about how he landed the role of Alfie Peterson on the Netflix show.
He explained: ‘We sent the tape over and about an hour later, we got a phone call saying, Darren (Star) and Lily (Collins) want to do a video call with you tomorrow…
“Lily bless her, it’s Friday and she’s worked a whole week, she’s worked all day and she was on this call fresh as a daisy and ready to have this talk. We talked for 45 minutes and I have no idea what we talked about because I was constantly thinking of my lines, not missing a beat.
‘And then the conversation was over. I said, “Don’t you want me to read?” And he said, “No, that’s fine.” And then I got a phone call saying, “You’re flying to Paris on Monday.” That was it and I only had to do two episodes.
During the chat, Craig humorously joked: “You’re too handsome for my taste!”

On working with Lily, he shared: “She’s so lovely and honestly, so professional and welcoming, and everything you would hope for, what you would expect from a leading lady on a show like that, and the time she has for everyone on set is really, really wonderful.”
The star also credited David Beckham with helping kickstart his early career, as he explained: “I was hired to do this job. When I was about 10, I was in Manchester window shopping with my mum and we were hired to do this Marks and Spencer campaign with David Beckham.”
Lucien continued: ‘Then he had an acting school in Manchester, I was a bit cheeky and a bit naughty, and I went to a couple of classes, and that’s how it started. So yeah, big thumbs up to David Beckham. Cheers mate!’
This comes after fans were left less than impressed at the start of the show, as it began with an embarrassing dance segment.
Viewers branded the car crash intro “the worst show opening of all time” as hosts Josie and Craig showed off their dodgy dance moves while reminiscing about their favourite 90s songs.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans were quick to mock Josie for her actions and pointed out how nervous she was.
Joined by Gyles Brandreth and Tim Campbell, Josie opened the show by declaring: ‘Hello and welcome to your Friday’s This Morning,’ while Craig then explained: ‘We’ve got a reason for doing this, we’re kicking off your Friday with some 90s tunes starting with Rhythm of the Night, a favourite of Josie’s.’
As she danced, Josie commented: “90s music is absolutely fantastic,” before turning to Tim and Gyles to ask them what their favourite song from that era was.
After they named Soul to Soul from Back to Life and Getting Jiggy With It from Will Smith as their favorite songs of the era, Craig realized that pop music wasn’t his thing and that it was more of a rock music style.
He shared: ‘I was following a very musical path at that stage of my life. There was no pop music. It would have been Nirvana… it would have been Smells Like Teen Spirit.’
Then the song was blasted into the studio, and Craig, Josie, Gyles and Tim started jumping wildly around.

But as Craig got down to business, Josie quickly stopped the process and snorted, “No, oh no, it’s too much for me!”
And it seemed to be too much for viewers, too, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to complain about the segment.
This Morning airs Monday to Friday from 10am on ITV.
