Bryce Leatherwood was immediately rescued on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice after four contestants vied for a final wildcard spot to stay in the competition.
The 22-year-old singer from Woodstock, Georgia, received the most audience votes out of the four contestants after singing Let Me Down Easy by Billy Currington.
“He’s got a huge fan following and that’s why I wasn’t too nervous about putting him in that position,” said his coach Blake Shelton, 46. “You looked incredible, dude.”

Before the vote was announced, Bryce took a moment to thank Blake for the opportunity.
“Thank you for seeing the artist that I am, for actually being such and for having me on a pedestal doing what I love to do, singing country music,” said Price, “I couldn’t be more fortunate.”
Blake tells him that’s what he was supposed to do.
“It’s going to happen to you, man,” said Blake, who finished with four lead singers as the field narrowed to 13 contestants.

Price beat out John Legend contestant Sasha Hurtado, 19, of Dallas, Georgia, who performed “Sia Elastic Heart.” He also beat out Gwen Stefani contestant Kevin Hawkins, 28, of Lancaster, Texas, who performed Childish’s Gambino Redbone. Kevin was touched and cried when he finished.
“The room is exploding,” said Gwen Stefani, 53. “Everyone is blown away by you.”
Price also received more votes than Camila Cabello contestant Kate Calvatch, 27, of Oklahoma City, who was in the running for a wildcard spot. Kate sang to Miley Cyrus When I Look at You. Kate took a moment after performing to quickly kiss her husband.

In the end, Sasha, Kevin, and Kate were all eliminated from the competition.

At the start of the show, host Carson Daly, 49, explained that the artists from each team who received the most votes from Monday night’s show would immediately move on to the next stage. Blake had a tough choice choosing between Bryce and 17-year-old Rowan Grace, from Rapid City, South Dakota. He eventually decides to save Rowan over Bryce.

First up: Team Blake went first and Carson announced that both Bodie, 29, of Los Angeles, and 16-year-old Brayden Lape, of Michigan, were both saved by the crowd votes and Blake saved Rowan forcing Bryce to compete at the moment of the save.
Then Charlie Puth, 30, took the stage and performed his hilarious hit song while playing the piano.
Team Legend contestants have taken it to the next level. Omar Jose Cardona, 33, of Orlando, Florida, said that no matter what happened, this was a really amazing experience for him. Carson announced that Omar and Parigita Bastola, 17, of Seven Park, Maryland, were saved by receiving the most crowd votes on their team.

Then Gwen decided to rescue Alyssa Witrado, 19, of Fresno, California. Alisa was shocked. Kevin Hawkins, 28, of Lancaster, Texas, went behind the scenes to get ready for the wildcard competition.

America voted to save Morgan Miles, 35, of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who performed Cheeks Let It Fly while playing guitar, Carson said. They also voted to save Davis, 28, of Pennsylvania, who performed the Kings of Leon hit Sex on Fire.
Camila told the remaining contestants that they are both very special and that she saw something in both of them.

Camilla eventually chose Eric, 22, of Orangeburg, South Carolina who performed “Adele’s Rumor Has It”, leaving Kate to fight for the wildcard spot.
