The spin-off show of Love Island Unseen Bits was withdrawn from ITV2 on Saturday evening after Caroline Flack was found dead at her London apartment at the age of 40.

The ITV2 show has replaced the 9 pm program with an old episode of You’ve Been Framed. It is not confirmed whether the show normally broadcasts on Sunday.

It comes after Love Island has issued a statement about Caroline’s death: “Everyone on Love Island and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news.

“Caroline was a very popular member of the Love Island team and our sincere thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends.”

MailOnline has contacted ITV2 for comments about whether Love Island will continue.

A lawyer for Caroline’s family confirmed that the TV star had died and issued a statement on Saturday: “We can confirm that our Caroline died today, February 15.

“We would ask the press to respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time and we would ask that they make no attempt to contact us and / or photograph us.”

The troubled Love Island star had stopped presenting Love Island after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend Lewis Burton 27 in her former flat in Islington, north London, in December.

She made a non-guilty plea for the indictment at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and was released on bail under conditions that prevented her from contacting Burton prior to a trial in March.

An ITV spokeswoman said: “Everyone on Love Island and ITV is shocked and saddened by this desperately sad news.
