He added: “It’s true that there have been some pretty strange coincidences in the past about the timing of some of their announcements. But I think they are becoming less and less relevant to the news here, and the Royal Family will always monopolize the attention.”
The trend continued with the launch of new products from Meghan’s brand on Trooping the Color day. Just two hours before the show, the Duchess introduced raspberry jam and dog biscuits to her product line.
In contrast, Princess Kate made major headlines by making her first public appearance in the midst of cancer treatment during Trooping the Color. Accompanied of her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, Kate’s presence attracted global media coverage.
