The results follow months-long attacks by Trump on Biden’s mental capacity. Trump regularly insults Biden as a “ sleepy Joe ” and has hunted him for spending much of the summer driving out of his basement, which Biden used for TV appearances and media interviews, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

A bare majority of 52 percent think Trump is physically fit for the job, compared to 54 percent for Biden. Trump is 74 and Biden is 77.
Biden in one CNN interview that aired Thursday pledged to be ‘completely transparent’ about his own health as he ripped Trump for his insults.
“Thank goodness I am in good health. But here’s the deal. Anything can happen, ”he said.
When it comes to Donald Trump versus me, take a look at us, okay? Just look at us. Who seems to be in shape? Who can move? I mean this idea from “Slow Joe.” Anyway, I don’t laugh about it because at least … Donald Trump. Just look at both of us, ”he said.
