Kmart shoppers have discovered a new purchase that “everyone” needs to spruce up their homes, and it won’t cost them a lot of money.

The Amiri Portable Rechargeable Lamp ($17) has Australians turning heads thanks to the “luxurious” glow it brings to their homes.

Jess Fusselfrom Perth, recently purchased this modern purchase to liven up her common room.

Kmart’s portable touch lamp is perfect for adding dimension to any room, and its low price means you can buy several to place around the house for a cohesive look.

The lamp is only available in gold tone at the moment, but shoppers are eager for Kmart to release other colors.

‘I love it! “I really want one of these silver chrome ones,” someone said online about the touch lamp.

“Awesome. I need it in my kitchen,” said another.

Another option is the Elly table lamp, which looks straight out of a ’70s time capsule with its pleated shade and sage green stand.

The Scandinavian-inspired lamp, which costs just $15, has been described as perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.

An online vintage decor store is selling a similar lamp, claimed to be from the late ’70s/early ’80s, for $1,027.

The table lamp was designed by Poul Seest Andersen and manufactured by Le Klint and Holmegaard in Denmark and measures 40cm high from the base to the top of the shade.

The vintage lamp has an eggshell white finish.

Similarly, new lamps are available online in European stores for around AU$300.
