Kardashian viewers took to social media to react to the official trailer for the sixth season of the hit reality series, The Kardashians, which returns on February 6.
In response to the teaser, a large handful of X users had harsh criticism of the upcoming season, which many said seemed “boring.”
Others joked about their disbelief that the show, starring Kourtney, Kim, Khloe Kardashian, as well as Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, still existed after moving their show to Hulu in 2022, after 20 seasons on E!
‘Why does this show still exist? It’s the same tired drama, the same superficial stories and the same exaggerated sense of importance. The fact that this garbage still has airtime is a testament to how far reality TV has fallen,” one tweeted.
Another wrote: “Absolutely no one asked for this or cares.”
Some X users, however, were more optimistic about season six.

A second fan gushed: “I’m so excited for this wow.”
Last month, it was revealed that the series would be coming to Hulu and Disney+ next month.
In the first teaser, the sisters could be seen wearing midnight black dresses while in a fancy museum.
The video showed each star in a gold-framed image as if they were in a John Singer Sargent painting in the Louvre.
“Limits are made to be broken,” it is written in the video in which the stars are seen leaving their paintings and walking through the museum.
In season six, “the Kardashian-Jenners return with a year full of challenges, milestones and new adventures,” according to the official logline.
“With uncertain futures and their pasts coming back to haunt them, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie and Kris will have to rely on each other as they navigate their roles as mothers and businesswomen, to overcome the obstacles that come with their increasingly complicated lives.’

Danielle King is the showrunner and executive producer.
Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are also executive producers.
The first five seasons are available to stream on Hulu.
In May, Deadline revealed that The Kardashians had the best ratings for an unscripted 2024 premiere episode yet for Disney’s streaming services, including Hulu, where the show airs in the US, and Disney+ and Star+.
Season 5 premiered on May 23 and had 3.9 million views worldwide during its first four days of airing, Disney said.
It also worked well outside of unwritten content.
According to the outlet, the fifth season premiere of The Kardashians is currently the second highest-rated premiere episode of an entertainment show of the year, surpassed only by the premiere of Shogun.
Another wrote: “Absolutely no one asked for this or cares.”
“Since the Kardashians are all billionaires, can they just end this show already?” another troll growled.
Some X users, however, were more optimistic about season six, applauding the haters while reminding people that they were “obliged to watch” anything that “triggers” them.
A show’s ability to maintain its audience or grow are also major concerns, and The Kardashians appears to be more popular than ever.
Disney, which does not appear to have released easily verifiable ratings figures, said the audience for the first season tripled after the fifth season premiered.
That suggests some viewers may go back to the beginning to catch up on episodes they missed or to fill in some of the famous family’s recent backstory.
Other viewers may also be intrigued enough by the series to want to start over before reaching the present day.
Other previous seasons are apparently getting compelling new views, with Disney claiming that seasons two through four saw viewership increases of between 99 and 187 percent after the fifth season premiered.
The Kardashians is the Kardashian-Jenners’ second flagship reality show, following the series that helped cement their fame, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The reality stars have only been working on their Hulu series for five seasons, but the outlet notes that this is their 25th season of television by combining their two main shows.
The Kardashians came online in 2022, but the Kardashian-Jenners had already been filming KUWTK since 2007.
The shift to Disney-owned streaming services resulted in larger budgets and higher production values, including a less clichéd score and more film-like cinematography, for the newer show compared to its predecessor.

According to Disney, its streaming services Hulu, Disney+ and Star+ had 3.9 million views worldwide. Hulu presents the show in the United States, while Disney+ and Star+ have it for international territories.
The Kardashians have documented much of the controversy that followed Kim’s divorce from her husband, her lively relationship with Pete Davidson, her sister Kourtney’s romance and marriage to husband Travis Barker, the birth of their son Rocky, and the births of the Khloé’s son, Tatum, with his ex. Tristan Thompson and the birth of Kylie’s son, Aire, whom she shares with her ex Travis Scott.
Kim and her sisters have also had several reality show spinoffs in recent years, and the SKIMS mastermind has recently tried his hand at acting with a lead role opposite Emma Roberts in the latest season of American Horror Story.
Kim stars with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, as well as her mother Kris Jenner.
All six members of the family are also executive producers of The Kardashians.
