The ex-girlfriend of triple crossbow shooting suspect Kyle Clifford has retweeted praising “women who walk away” for their “strength,” just days before she was fatally attacked in her home along with her mother and sister.
Louise Hunt, 25, daughter of BBC star John Hunt, was allegedly tied up and killed with a crossbow alongside her mother Carol, 61, and sister Hannah, 28, at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday night.
Suspect Kyle Clifford, 26, who reportedly split from Louise last week, was found hiding wounded in a cemetery in Enfield on Wednesday afternoon after apparently shooting himself with the crossbow.
Louise was apparently so distraught over her “messy” break-up that she crashed her car into a wooden telegraph pole just days ago, leaving the vehicle’s door collapsed.
The young dog groomer reposted her last tweet on social media platform X on July 3, which read: ‘I admire women who leave, I don’t care if you left after the first or 12th time, I admire that sh*t!
“I don’t care if people call you stupid for 11 years, but in year 12 you decided you didn’t want to anymore. It takes a LOT of strength to break a tie. It takes a LOT of self-love to choose yourself.”
Louise Hunt shared her final post on social media platform X on July 3, praising “women leaving” for their “strength.”

Hannah Hunt, 28, and her mother Carol Hunt, 61, also died in Tuesday’s tragic attack.
Suspect Kyle Clifford, 26, who reportedly split up with Louise last week, was found hiding injured in a cemetery in Enfield this afternoon.
The three women lived with BBC star John Hunt (pictured), who was working at the time of the attack.
Neighbour Glyn Nicholas, 77, said Louise was upset about breaking up with her boyfriend and crashed her car as a result last week.
He said: “Louise was a very nice girl. She ran a dog grooming business from the house.
“I heard that she split up with her boyfriend last week and I felt really bad about it. So much so that sometime last week, while driving home, she crashed into a wooden telegraph pole that was near the house.
‘Another dog groomer, a friend of Louise’s, told me that the door to her car had collapsed due to the accident.’
The neighbour added: “I don’t know if it was her boyfriend, but let’s put it this way, some of the dog walkers said she had a traumatic break-up with her boyfriend last week.”
Carol told friends at her local gym that her youngest daughter was involved in a “messy breakup” with her boyfriend.
The mother was exercising at Bushey Grove leisure centre on Tuesday afternoon.
She spoke to friends at the gym about how her daughter Louise’s relationship with Kyle was turning ugly.
A friend said: ‘She said her daughter’s split from her boyfriend was a disaster.
‘Carol didn’t go into too much detail, but you could tell she was worried.’
