The Days of Our Lives actor, Francisco San Martín, died at the age of 39.
The actor, known for his role as Darío Hernández on the soap opera, was reportedly found by police at his Los Angeles home on Thursday.
He is believed to have committed suicide, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office told Hollywood LA News.
Francisco first appeared on Days Of Our Lives in 2011 playing a small-time thief, although it was later revealed that he came to Salem to investigate a cold case.
His character later moved to Argentina for work and was subsequently played by Jordi Vilasuso between 2016 and 2017.
Francisco is also known for appearing on The Bold And The Beautiful as the gardener Mateo in 2017.

He had a recurring role as real estate manager Fabián Regalo del Cielo on the hit show Jane The Virgin in 2017 and had a small role in Behind The Candelabra, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
According ForbesFrancisco’s former Days Of Our Lives co-star Camila Banús, who played his sister Gabi, shared a tribute on Instagram.
She wrote: ‘Pepe, what can I say but that I love you and may you rest in peace, my friend. I love you very much very much; I wish I had told you more.
Other people took to social media to pay tribute, writing: ‘Very, very sad. I’m a little shocked because I saw Francisco at my gym almost every day.
Others wrote: ‘RIP darling. He left too soon’… ‘May God strengthen his family. Francisco San Martín RIP.
Francisco was born in Mallorca, Spain and grew up in Montana. He began his career as an actor in children’s theater while living in the United States.
Later, he and his family returned to Spain when he was a teenager and began working as a model and taking acting classes.
He later appeared in several Spanish theater, television and film productions.
