The Bachelor’s Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska welcome their first child together

Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska welcomed their first child together.

The Bachelor stars, who first fell in love on the show in 2020, announced the arrival of their newborn daughter on Saturday and revealed that Irena had given birth to daughter Ava on Friday.

On Instagram, the married couple shared intimate black and white photos of their birth and their entire family.

‘Ava Alexandra Gilbert. 02.23.24 ‘, they captioned their post.

Locky and Irena’s announcement was met with good wishes and congratulations for the new family.

‘Awwww congratulations! Enjoy the bubble of love x,” Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson wrote.

‘Beautiful news. Congratulations x,” added AFL WAG Bec Judd.

‘She is perfect !!!! Hello Ava!! Welcome to your beautiful life! Congratulations Locky and Irena,’ fellow Bachelor star Juliette Herrera commented.

Last month, Irena revealed the heartbreaking news that her unborn baby was diagnosed with a single umbilical artery.

A single umbilical artery (SUA) is a malformation of the umbilical cord, where only one artery develops instead of two, and may be associated with birth defects.

Irena wrote on Instagram, along with a video about the condition: ‘This is something I didn’t think I would share, but I’ve had a lot of questions about when my baby will be born and I deliberately haven’t shared it for a reason.

‘Early in the pregnancy, our baby was diagnosed with a single artery umbilical cord, which is more common than I thought. In fact, 1 in 100 pregnancies has a single arterial cord. The main concern is that the baby is too small to develop.’

“So our baby and my belly are smaller than expected considering how far along I am and I didn’t want to be compared to other women with the same pregnancy as me.”

And she added: “Being pregnant is not easy, we ourselves compare our belly, our pregnancy, our baby and our experience with those around us.”

The couple She announced her pregnancy last year as the lovebirds are expecting their first child together in early 2024.

The Bachelor stars, who found love on the Channel 10 matchmaking show in 2020, made the announcement following the heartbreak of two miscarriages in two years.
