Matty ‘J’ Johnson has recalled a terrifying altercation on a recent Jetstar flight.
Speaking on his Two Doting Dads podcast, The Bachelor star, 36, revealed he was almost “beaten up” in front of his two young daughters, aged just five and three.
“So we got the two kids in their seats, the guy in front of me looks over the seat, looks at me and says, ‘Do you want me to break your fucking nose?'” he said, revealing that the explosion came out of nowhere.
The podcast host explained how a “hero” flight attendant overheard the situation and kicked the man in front of him off the plane.
‘The good thing was that the flight attendant was right next to me, walking down the aisle, while I was saying that and she noticed, and he started freaking out saying that I was preventing him from rearranging his seat.
“He didn’t even touch the seat. Then she (the flight attendant) told me: ‘Don’t react to him, I’m going to fix this,'” he explained.
Matty revealed that the police soon arrived and told the man there was a problem with his reservation.
‘Then the police officers came, patted him on the shoulder and said, “There’s been a little problem with your reservation.” They were very good at keeping him calm (and told him), “You’re going to get on the next flight,” Matty continued.

“I wasn’t sure if she was going to look at me and say ‘you’re the reason I’m getting kicked out’… and I’ve got Marlie and Lola by my side,” he continued.
‘Anyway, he gets off the plane… the relief I felt (was immense).’
Matty and his wife Laura Byrne tied the knot on the South Coast in 2022 after meeting on The Bachelor.

They welcomed Marlie-Mae in 2019, followed by Lola in February 2021.
The couple got engaged while on vacation in Fiji in April 2018.
