An anti-woke American podcaster has gone on a rampage against Australia, claiming it is “the weakest, wokest, dumbest country on Earth”.

Right-wing political activist Matt Walsh said his views of Australia and its people had worsened in recent years.

His comments come after watching Alone Australia, which he described as “unintentionally the funniest thing on TV right now”.

“I have to say, and I’m sure there are great people in Australia, but my opinion of Australians has just taken a nosedive,” he said.

During the pandemic, Walsh was extremely critical of Covid lockdowns and vaccine mandates, which were introduced across Australia.

‘Before Covid, I thought Australia was, first and foremost, an absolute hell, where poisonous spiders rained down from the sky. That part is true,’ he said.

“But then I thought that’s why anyone who lives there has to be the toughest son of a bitch on the planet.”

‘I really thought that. I thought it was all Steve Irwins country.

The controversial podcaster said that ‘since Covid, and now ending with (Alone Australia), I thought Australia is the weakest, most woke, dumbest country on Earth.’

‘How is that possible? And if you have these few survival skills, how are you going to live in the countryside to begin with?

‘I don’t understand. It’s amazing,’ he said.

Alone Australia is a survival competition series based on the hit American version.

“Ten Australians are left alone in separate areas of remote wilderness where they must contend with the forces of nature, hunger and loneliness,” the SBS promo for the show read.

Walsh wrote that he and his wife enjoy watching the American version of Alone, which “features brave and skilled survivors.”

‘We just discovered there is an Australian version and started watching it. Unintentionally the funniest thing on TV right now. It’s basically “Alone: DEI Edition.”

‘DEI’ is an acronym for ‘diversity, equity and inclusion.’

Walsh wrote that Alone Australia ticks all the diversity boxes by including two lesbians and two indigenous people.

‘Ten contestants. Two are lesbians. Two say they are indigenous. One of the lesbians quit after one night.

“One of the indigenous guys made a big show about being in touch with nature etc. and then cried and quit after one night.”

The conservative commentator then wrote about how a ‘Gen Z environmentalist’ called for a medical evacuation after testing positive for Covid-19.

“Another indigenous person tried to eat a toxic millipede,” he said.

‘The American version features brave and skilled survivors.

“The Australian version was more concerned with ticking the diversity boxes, so the contestants are totally clueless, incompetent and just plain crying through the whole thing,” Walsh wrote.

He said Alone Australia was “very fun stuff”. And a big warning. Highly recommended.

‘Apparently they sent the contestants to the desert with Covid tests. And they begin each episode with a land reconnaissance.

‘Plus, they have a ton of environmental regulations that prohibit them from hunting virtually any animal. Like I said, it’s hilarious.’

Walsh’s new video has already received several hundred comments, and one poster talks about her own experiences on the show.

‘Being a survival enthusiast, I started the application process for this show, but as soon as I realized they were promoting DEI to the contestants, I didn’t proceed any further.

“There were more questions about sexuality and gender identity than about outdoor skills.”

Another wrote that Crocodile Dundee actor Paul Hogan actually gave millions of Americans the wrong impression of Australians.

‘The vast majority of them are nothing like that. Renowned outdoorsmen like Steve Irwin are as common as they come here in the United States.

‘However, what I retained when I visited Australia in 2009 and 2013 was his sense of humor and his affinity for alcohol.

“But this was before they became infected with awakening,” they wrote.
