Texans defensive end Dylan Horton has announced that he is cancer-free after being diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma last year.

The 23-year-old NFL pro shared a touching Instagram Story of him ringing a gong in the hospital with family and friends to announce what will likely be his return to the field this fall.

“Praise God,” he wrote over the video, adding a check mark emoji next to “Final Treatment.”

In December, Horton shared that he had swollen lymph nodes via a statement from the Texans and that he planned to return after completing the necessary treatment.

‘By the grace of God, I am blessed to be able to say that I am currently in remission! “I am grateful for the love of my family and friends, and the support of the Texans organization and my doctors,” he said.

The 23-year-old bangs a gong to celebrate the end of his chemotherapy treatment.
