This is the terrifying moment a yacht carrying tourists crashed onto rocks and sank during a chaotic boat trip on New Year’s Day.
The ship, called Amore Mio, was carrying guests in Mexico celebrating the start of 2025 in style before everything went dramatically wrong.
Tense footage captured the luxury ship crashing into a large rock wall as a group of bikini-clad revelers crowded into an open space at the front of the yacht.
The ship could be seen rocking back and forth as terrified guests struggled to find safety before the ship fell or crashed back into the rock surface.
Spectators and divers frantically called out to tourists and made hand gestures to encourage them to escape the crashed ship by jumping over the side.
Screams and screams from stranded tourists filled the images as some walked to the side of the ship to jump off while others remained parked at the bow.
According to local reports, a total of 15 tourists fell into the water but were fortunately saved by nearby divers who dragged them to safety.
Another clip of the ship after the accident shows the ship slowly sinking in the blue waters of La Quebrada, Acapulco, as pieces of its mechanics broke and floated out to sea.

The empty yacht could later be seen in images almost vertical as it sank into the blue waters.
Pieces of the sunken yacht could be seen floating in the sea after the accident.
The empty yacht could be seen bobbing up and down while at least two other small boats lurked behind, watching the destruction unfold.
The Amore Mio was almost upright as large blocks of metal floated, causing the ship to sink further into the water as onlookers watched in shock.
The wreckage was then seen moving slowly towards a rock face, causing further damage to the vehicle as it bounced off the surface.
Eyewitnesses told local media that strong currents pushed the ship onto rocks, eventually causing it to crash.
The passengers who were rescued from the ship were reportedly unharmed, but suffered nervous breakdowns as a result of fear of the ship crashing.
After the incident, the Mexican Navy cordoned off the area.
It comes after a £10m superyacht crashed into a cruise ship off the Bahamas last month.
Footage taken by passengers showed the yacht Aurora veering diagonally toward the massive cruise ship Allure of the Seas while docked in Nassau Harbor on December 12.
Horrified cruise ship passengers standing on the railing can be heard shouting: “This is surely going to hit us.” They are hitting us. “Oh no, they’re going to hit us.”
The 121-foot yacht then slammed into the Royal Caribbean ship with a loud crash, before scraping the hull of the 1,187-foot cruise ship, accompanied by deafening cracks.
The yacht’s mast even hit one of the cruise ship’s lifeboats, which tore off the radar dome and left debris on the yacht.
But the Allure of the Seas suffered minimal damage and left the Bahamas port 40 minutes late.
No injuries were reported after the incident, but the Aurora remained docked in Nassau for repairs due to the significant damage it sustained.
