A video posted online shows the dramatic moment a family attraction at a Texas theme park appeared to fail.
The video, posted to TikTok on Sunday, shows four rafts stacked on the Raging River attraction at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington.
Within moments, another raft crashes on the scene, causing the terrified passengers to try to climb back onto the dock to safety.
When a park employee desperately tries to cling to one of the rafts, it is removed, leaving passengers with no choice but to fall into the water in an effort to return to the dock.
In one heart-stopping moment, a boy entering the river struggles to swim to safety and is pushed into the water by another man while someone can be heard shouting “bring the boy.”

The passengers were forced to jump off their raft and swim to safety.
The child and two adults had to climb onto the dock with soaked clothes, while the other rafts returned on the other side.
As they make it safely back to the dock, an employee can be seen running around with flotation devices.
It’s unclear what may have caused the crash, but some spectators said it’s not unusual for the ride to operate like this.
“That happened to us on the same trip,” said user Megan Burnett. “We sat there while they drained the water and had to leave.”
Another user wrote that the Roaring River attraction is “known for this, if you’re from (Dallas-Fort Worth), you know,” while a third claimed that the attraction “is a death trap once it flips over,” adding that “It is not like this”. getting down to work.

The same attraction at an amusement park in Iowa killed an 11-year-old boy and his older brother when their raft capsized and trapped them underwater in July 2021.
The family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Adventureland Water Park claiming it is responsible for the young man’s death.
In Australia, four adults also died on a similar trip when the conveyor belt failed, causing the six-person raft to capsize.
He then crushed and drowned two men, aged 38 and 35, and two women, aged 42 and 32.
