CNN's Scott Jennings revealed that the liberal outburst that made him cringe this year was when a guest tried to justify President Joe Biden's decision to pardon his son Hunter.

CNN’s Scott Jennings revealed how a liberal guest made him cringe with her embarrassing attempt to justify President Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son.

Jennings, who has become known for his dissonance with the network’s progressive stance, described the exchange with commentator Leigh McGowan.

McGowan suggested Biden was right to pardon his son Hunter Biden’s felony gun and tax convictions because Donald Trump is “talking about using firing squads.”

The bizarre justification prompted visible eye rolls from Jennings during the panel that aired earlier this month.

And in an essay for The spectator, Jennings describes rolling his eyes, “so hard I almost broke my neck.”

McGowan tried to justify Biden’s decision to pardon his son, despite previously vowing not to do so.

‘I believe circumstances have changed. “I think now we have a president coming into power who is talking about firing squads, who is talking about taking people around the country and making sure that whoever is his enemy is punished,” McGowan said.

She may have been referring to previous reports in the newspaper Rolling stone the president-elect wondered whether he would expand the use of firing squads as part of the death penalty if he secured the White House.

The reports were attributed to two Trump insiders, who claimed the newly elected president was also considering the possibility of group executions to “help instill the fear of God in violent criminals.”

However, the claims have since been denied by Trump, who has not announced any such plans.

“Hunter Biden lied on a government form about his drug use,” McGowan continued.

‘He failed to file tax returns and pay taxes when he was addicted to drugs. He paid back the taxes with interest.

“Donald Trump himself was indicted on seventeen counts of criminal tax fraud, more than Hunter, and he becomes president of the United States.”

Writing about the exchange, Jennings later said, “I wonder: Would a pardon really stop someone who planned a firing squad?”

The anecdote was recalled as part of the essay, titled: “My Top Tips for 2024 by Scott Jennings, CNN’s ‘Black Sheep.’

Jennings expressed how happy he was to be given the nickname by DailyMail.com. He has quickly become a CNN favorite for his scathing takedown of liberal excesses.

In the essay he enjoys the ‘triggering’ of White Dudes for Kamala’s Paul Rieckhoff and of being an ‘unhinged’ comedian.

This year in particular, he delivered a monologue that got to the heart of why the left performed so disastrously in the elections.

‘The revenge of the ordinary American working class, who have been crushed, insulted and condescended to – they are not trash, they are not Nazis, they are just ordinary people who get up every day and go to work and try to make a better life for to build their children up and they feel like they’ve been told to shut up,” Jennings said.

‘The Black Sheep takeaway for 2024? The American people are tired of being fooled by Democrats,” he concluded in the essay.

Jennings also revealed his close friendships with famed Democrats David Axelrod and Van Jones in an effort to remind Americans that it’s healthy to have friends with different views.
