Taylor Swift fans have sparked a wild rumor, speculating that one of the pop star’s exes could be dating a Kardashian.
Swifties suspect that British actor Joe Alwyn, who broke up with the Cardigan singer in April 2023, is starting a romance with Kendall Jenner after the two were seen posing together at the Academy Film Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.
In the snapshot shared by FashionAlwyn puts his arm around a beaming Kendall as they pose with another of Swift’s exes, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Fans quickly discovered that Alwyn had also liked Jenner’s Instagram post from the event, adding more fuel to the fire.
“Looks like we’re headed for a Kendall Jenner and Joe Alwyn relationship that would drive so many people crazy,” TikTok user hankatherinee he speculated, before alluding to Taylor Swift’s infamous feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

“This would be huge because as you know Swifties would go crazy given the past between Taylor, Kim and Kanye, and Joe is Taylor’s ex so dating a KarJenner would be crazy,” the user continued.
Kendall and Taylor are also known to have a rocky history, as they both dated pop star Harry Styles within months of each other.
This didn’t go unnoticed by Swifties, with one tweeting: “Oh Kendel (sic) stay away from Joe please, we don’t want another Harry Styles fiasco.”
Another wrote: “Joe with Kendall is crazy,” while a third joked: “Kendall and Joe in a photo weren’t on my 2024 bingo card.”
The Taylor-Kardashian rivalry dates back to the 2016 release of Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo. On the album’s song, Famous, Kim’s ex-husband raps: “I feel like Taylor and I could still have sex / Why?” I made that bitch famous.”
The phrase, which alludes to when Kanye interrupted Taylor’s victory at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, was supposedly passed to the singer for her approval, but she denies giving it the go-ahead.
Taylor said she had been contacted about the song, but “never found out the actual lyrics, ‘I made that bitch famous.'”
In an effort to prove Kanye’s version, Kim shared an edited clip from the studio in which he calls out Taylor and seemingly gets her approval.

However, the clip shows him conveying the idea, rather than the specific lyrics, and when the full call was later leaked, he made it clear that the use of ‘b****’, which seemed to be a major issue for Taylor, was completely excluded.
Things seemed to calm down in the following years, with Kim claiming in 2019 on Watch What Happens Live that the trio had “overcome” the feud.
However, that’s not how the Blank Space singer saw it, later saying in an interview with Elle that “it would be nice if we could get an apology from the people who harass us.”
Although Taylor’s career has never been better or had a higher profile than in recent years, she complained in her 2023 TIME Person of the Year profile that the dispute “took me down psychologically to a place I’d never been.” before”.
“You have a completely fabricated frame, in an illegally recorded phone call, that Kim Kardashian edited and then posted to tell everyone I was a liar,” she fumed.
Meanwhile, Taylor didn’t end her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn on friendly terms.
In June, Joe finally made the decision to break his silence on the split after being left “emotionally drained” by the endless questions about their six-year romance and subsequent split following the release of his latest album.
The actor said he had “a long, loving and totally committed relationship” with the American pop superstar when he opened up for the first time in an interview with the Sunday Times stylereveal that their breakup was “a difficult thing to deal with.”
Taylor has been feuding with Kendall’s sister, Kim Kardashian, for years. That family rivalry dates back to the 2016 release of Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo.
Alwyn reportedly addressed the speculation to “move on” after Swift appeared to make several scathing comments about him in The Tortured Poets Department, which she published in April.
