Taylor Swift continues to surprise her fans, and Saturday’s show in Sydney, Australia, was no exception.
After the 34-year-old superstar told the crowd at Accor Stadium that they were his dream crowd, he revealed the big decision he had made about choosing the ‘surprise song’.
The Grammy winner began the practice of performing two acoustic songs that are not on her list of 44 songs that she includes in each concert at the beginning of the Eras tour.
Her goal was not to repeat a single song during the tour, but the Hero artist explained to the people Down Under that she was no longer feeling well.
“That was to challenge myself to reach out to all those that I just don’t naturally gravitate toward, and I feel very proud to have done that.” US Weekly reported.

“But this is kind of a public service announcement for everyone who may be anywhere else on the tour, or whatever, or watching this; we have a lot of people, we’re very lucky that a lot of people see this on the Internet and we worry about these programs if they’re not here,” he said.
“I’ve been reconsidering and I’ve been thinking that I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward and I don’t want to limit anything or say, ‘If I play this song, I can’t play it again.'”
Now the Cruel Summer artist wants to use her creativity to make certain changes to the repeated songs.
Swift explained that she wants to play surprise songs “more than once if I feel like it” and be able to make “changes” to certain melodies.
‘Does that sound good?’ she asked the crowd of admirers who responded with a resounding ‘Yes!’
The hitmaker performed not one, but two mashups.
The first was Should Have Said No from their self-titled debut album with Fearless’ You’re Not Sorry.
The second was a mix of Peace from Folklore and New Year’s Day by Reputation on piano.
