Sydney Harbor tunnel closed after car crash and camera failure causing traffic chaos for those trying to enter the city
The Sydney Harbor Tunnel has been closed in both directions following a crash and a technical problem with the CCTV system, causing massive delays for commuters.
Commuters have been urged to use the Harbor Bridge instead as hundreds of cars lined up in the tunnel on Tuesday morning.
At around 11:15 a.m., the CCTV system malfunctioned, closing lanes to the south, while an accident involving two cars in the Domain Tunnel simultaneously closed the northern entrance.
